David Scott Nava is a Principle Solution Engineer at Salesforce, and is a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander.
David was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy in 1999. He earned his Naval Flight Officer wings a year later and selected EA-6B Prowlers.
At the conclusion of his 20-year career in the United States Navy, David began his second career as a Junior Solution Architect in the Salesforce ecosystem. A year later, he received an offer to work at Salesforce and was hired as a Senior Solution Consultant. David was later internally recruited to Salesforce’s Global Public Sector division, where he currently works as a Principal Solution Engineer on the Department of Defense team.
Throughout his career in tech, David has volunteered hundreds of hours mentoring other service members, veterans, and military spouses interested in transitioning to tech. During the past two and half years, he’s hosted over 100 sessions of tech office hours, educating more than 4,000 military community members on employment opportunities within the tech industry.
